Exceptionally unsettling. There’s lots to ponder about and room to do so given the minimal dialogue and long takes. An excellent study in the lack of empathy brought about by too much money beyond the need to live and what can be unearthed given enough free time and anonymous online networks and bitcoin. This is Chelsea Handler’s macabre alternate reality experience.

It’s hard watching this in the same way a horror movie makes you want to scream some sense into the protagonists. It’s so painful to watch a kid make such idiot mistakes and wonder how many I made and just maybe am still capable of making. Friendships are so easily lost and hard to mend.
All praise to the enduring love of mothers that take such abuse and keep on loving anyway. Maybe think about watching this with your mom some day.
