I felt so bad for Anthony Mackie bc this movie sucks and there was no marketing Turns out he PRODUCED IT! Def a "brother in christ you made the sandwich" moment.
I still scratching my head how Shira Haas was even included/casted. She reheated Gal Gadots' stilted and awkward acting nachos
I laughed a couple times sure! Animation was pretty slick but still yknow its a kids movie.
The acting was pretty good!
The movie blazed right past the actual "Sports" part which honestly i wanted to see more of. So after it focuses on managing fame, personal responsibility, and classism and sexism in sports. Its a lot to manage and I dont think it really nails each theme. Regardless for a sport drama, its an interesting perspective.
Also its pretty sad how the movie underlines how women arent given the same attention in sports and according to wiki, this movie was a box office bomb. Especially when there was ZERO marketing.
