rewatched and is it even more on the nose than i remembered? yes. was the ending rushed? yes. was abrupt and anticlimactic? yes. did anya taylor joy look like she’d never eaten a burger before? yes. is it corny? absolutely! but it’s fun. it’s silly.

the social network has and always will go so hard. excellent plane movie too.
a genuinely insulting documentary to the viewer. almost 90 minutes of pure confusion and aimlessness. imagine having the opportunity to create something interesting, meaningful, and insightful about the state of the church, and instead you document exactly what is wrong with the church and leadership within the church, without acknowledging that fact. perhaps instead of spending effort on getting five unique camera angles of each person in one scene, time could have been spent actually drawing out a meaningful message.…
