I don’t even know how to begin this review, this movie was just absolutely phenomenal in general. You learn to love the characters, love the bond that they have with each other and see them grow and learn to love each other. This movie hit way too close too home, from the set design to the clothing to the mannerisms of the characters and they way they talked to each other and even yelled at each other. At some points…

Sosuke loves Ponyo whether or not she’s a fish or a human or in between ☹️☹️☹️
Anyways this film is just so so charming, the animation is so so smooth and gorgeous to look at, I mean the ocean is just absolutely beautiful, soundtrack is of course amazing as with every Miyazaki and Studio Gibli film, time was just flying by watching this and I was enjoying every moment, I was smiling throughout (except when I was crying), I was laughing, and I was just having fun!
