What We Do in the Shadows 2014
Charming, inventive horror comedy that uses a mock-documentary form to explore the lives of a group of vampires sharing a flat in New Zealand. The deadpan (more so than usual) style of co-director Jemaine Clement's Flight of the Conchords produces a lot of memorable asides and lines, with Shadows never over-extending its simple, excellent premise: making a group of immortal vampires as awkward and self-deluded as everyone else.
