  Foul Play 1978

  A fun diversion.  Man Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase were great together on screen.  While Dudley Moore’s whole schtick has not aged super well this quote was hilarious: “As you say over here: You’re put on this world to do your thing.  I am put on this world to do my thing.  And if perchance, our things, do, meet, that’s…that’s groovy.”

  Quirky and bizarre.  The ability of Bong Joon Ho to tell great stories across multiple genres is remarkable.  Ruffalo and Collette had to have an absolute blast hamming it up in every scene.

  Yeah, this is just not a good movie.  The dialogue felt like a washed up comic trying too hard to make this life seem like some grand sacrifice.  And I just didn’t like either of the main characters.
