Anora 2024
It’s a good film, I’m just not sure what made it the winner of best picture. I will have to watch the other films to see if I can understand why it’s worthy of the best picture award. The movie is not bad, it’s good. I’m just confused and I’ve only seen two other films nominated of the ten.

Captain America: Brave New World 2025
It’s not terrible, I see that they tried to do a winter solider type story for this movie. I’m glad this one didn’t have a huge army battle like that last few MCU movies had. Now I would like to see a Isiah Bradley series. We all know that these marvel movies set up everything else. Some minor set up here which is nice. Hard to compare to the other Captain America movies since it’s not the same Captain America. Hopefully we can see another Captain America film with Mackie.

Wolf Man 2025
I liked this take. It’s not a reboot or copy, it’s a re-inventing of the story. Sadly I think for all the universal monsters films to be successful will need a re-invention. To me this wasn’t scary, even though there are a few decent jump scares. It felt more suspenseful.
