hugh grant MADE this film. i love him. i need him. sandra bullock is amazing, her parents were so funny & lovely. banter between hugh grant & sandra bullock was so good i loved their dialogue & their jokes. i need more fun romcoms like this! this is my shit!!! side note; hated the trump cameo. ugly and dumb.

i don’t remember the ending being so anticlimactic😃i really thought calypso being released would mean she would play a big part in the fight but idt she did. BUT davy jones killing will surprised me a lot bc i didn’t remember him becoming the new captain of the dutchman. regardless, i really liked this movie. also thought it was v interesting to see the ships from singapore and the influence of asian culture on piracy there. also cool to see the pirate lords come together. hated the part where jack sparrow is in the locker and he’s hallucinating..did not enjoy that.

finally finally watched this movie. i think i should’ve paid more attention to the beginning of the film but i was a bit distracted, also bc it’s a lot of buildup & not much action happens. second half of movie was so good & it met my expectations!! i wanna rewatch it again idt i fully appreciated the cinematography & shots of the film. the part when ellen was liek u could never please me as he did & then they jus have sex…
