  Awakenings 1990

  Absolutely beautiful movie. Almost cried my eyes out I can’t believe this is a true story too. It was such a horrible dilemma would it have been better to not give them their life back at all if it meant that you wouldn’t be taking it away later? Loved Robin Williams in this there could not be a better actor for this wholesome character, and I didn’t know Robert Di Nero could play anyone but a crazy dude but it was a welcome surprise.

  At first I thought this movie would be a sort of criminal heist movie which genre I can very confidently say I’m not a big fan of. But I was pleasantly surprised to see it be more of a Mystery movie. The twist was worth the wait and definitely unexpected for me at least.

  This was a good movie. It had a really interesting premise and was pretty good at implementing it. The older robots fighting the newer ones to protect the humans even though they had been thrown away was kinda heartwarming in a way. 
  The only issue I have with the movie is it just felt like a generic action movie with Will Smith in it which is like way too common.

  This movie was a great take on classism and how some people can go to great extremes to try to move up in the socioeconomic ladder.
