anxiety fueling, grotesque horror with an amazing score. cailee spaeny was amazing !! also the last “extended” part was terrifying
definitely one of the horror films that scarred me this year. this film which mind you is directed by oz perkins, the guy from legally blonde (dorky david kidney) and the son of anthony perkins; better known as patrick bates.
from the marketing alone, longlegs stood out from all the horror films i’ve watched, they really risked it in promoting this film and it worked. from showcasing a little amount of the movie, but the eeriness of its aesthetic, longlegs…
