  This movie was interesting for me because I liked it but couldn’t tell why. 

  I think me being me I just kept trying to understand the title. I slept on it… for hours… and now I know I like this. 

  We saw Fujino’s back many times throughout the movie as she works. She mentioned to Kyomoto for her to just follow her guidance meaning that Kyomoto would always be looking at her back. And when Kyomoto died Fujino looked back…

  THE FULL CIRCLE!!!!

  Not me thinking everyone was going to die except Maquia. Freedom to captivity to freedom. Becoming a mother to raise a child that will also become a parent one day. 

  There is just something about animes where the storytelling, art, and music draw you in and make you feel the story without even knowing. 

  I’d rewatch this!
