  Vanessa Kirby was good. Joaquin Pheonix was good. Seeing Miles Jupp play an emperor was great.
  Rest of the film was pretty boring. Didn't even think the battles were that well filmed, found it hard to tell who was who in the big wide shots.
  Why does Ridley Scott insist on doing inaccurate history films when the genre of fantasy is right there for him?

  Thought this might be just another "nice" british comedy but it's both funnier and better performed than that. Who doesn't want to see Olivia Colman screeching profanity too?!

  Loved! Brilliant performance from the young stars. A really honest story from working class Britain without being a poverty porn story. Emotionally charged without being over slushy or weepy. A beautiful little film.
