  the high praise i was met with upon pre reading reviews, along with a strong recommendation from my co worker, had me hopeful.. but i've arrived at the conclusion that this movie left a lot to be desired. the aliens were wayyy too chill.. they should have divinely intervened and killed some ppl, especially jeremy renner for unironically uttering the words "yeah, that just happened." actually finished the entire thing tho and the sfx were neat so i give it half a star as a treat

  been a while since i watched this one and unfortunately it's as terrible as i remember. however, my love for andrew garfield will always prevail
