This was the exact movie I needed right now. I love the family dynamics and characterizations. It’s the perfect mix of humor, drama, and heart. I will definitely be watching this many more times and recommending it to other people!!

So much of this film felt familiar and hit close to home. The mom in this acts EXACTLY like my maternal grandmother. In fact, the entire family in this reminds me of my extended family. The ending even made me tear up a teensy bit because of my relatives’ lore. I just love this movie.

Sheryl Lee as The Good Witch healed something in me. Also I wanted to love this more but alas.

Really love Laura Dern in this! The beginning and the last 30 minutes are actually pretty good, but everything in the middle was just okay. I am a person who can embrace camp but not when the middle is making me bored 😔

I also really loved The Wizard of Oz references throughout and how they tied into the film. I would definitely rewatch this to see if I like it more in the future. It’s not terrible, but definitely not Lynch’s best and that’s okay.

My expectations were in the middle because I was scared to be let down but WOW!! As a theater kid, I am happy to say this is amazing. I was blown away from the beginning with No One Mourns The Wicked. Absolute chills with the cinematography, acting, and choreography in that number alone. I teared up during The Wizard And I, and they did justice to every single song. Also the costumes deserve an Oscar nomination I’m obsessed.

I felt the message of this film to my core just like the first one. I love these movies so much!! It’s crazy to think about how I was Riley’s age when the first Inside Out came out and now I’m 20. I struggled with anxiety a lot as a teen and still do, so I couldn’t help sobbing.

I’m really glad this film exists to help people talk about and understand anxiety a little more (especially kids). 🫶
