  As a distant descendant of the Reinhardt clan this movie kicks right in the feels. My grandfather Edwin Reinhardt survived WW2 due to the fact that he lived alone and separated from his Sinte heritage in the middle of nowhere and the use of falsified documents. Many others weren't as lucky. This movie partly shows how fascism in it's countless ugly facets destroyed the last bit of existing Sinte and Romani culture in Central Europe.

  If you're not crying your heart must be made of ice. The combination of realism and fantastic elements is so well executed in this one.

Following
