Altogether a beautiful movie. I love the connections to the original book with lines and scenes straight from the book. I appreciate how the count was made to be more discomforting and less charming and conversational than the count from the book and most movies, definitely been needing a fill of uneasy and freaky vampires. 🦇

It definitely looked cool which can be expected. The writing felt slightly off at first but overall was a good retelling of a story we already know.
The characters sort of felt like “what if I said exactly what I felt and thought with no trouble at all, which would have taken anyone else months or years of therapy to come to terms with and understand. Oh and also let me tell all of this to my nine year old…Translated from by
