  A bit gory in places, very gloomy. Very Poe.

  The film is an enjoyable watch  if you have some knowledge of Edgar Allen Poe’s works and a little about the gothic genre. Although I found the superficial references to his most popular pieces a bit of a disappointment. 

  It’s dark, moody and a good creepy film. Even some ravens!

  Great film. Too short. Left wanting when the end credits roll.

  Great use of chiaroscuro, really does give it a dark, classic horror feel.
