personally i thought there was no obvious plot it just felt like they wanted to make a new beetlejuice movie for the sake of having a second movie and for having jenna ortega play winona's daughter featuring a bunch of random cameos that didn't have much to do with the film. they couldve left out willem dafoe's character and focus more on monica belluci's character as i thought she had a lot more to offer in the film since her character was in love with beetlejuice and there couldve been a love triangle between beetlejuice, lydia and his wife.

its a shame for me to give the m. night shyamalan a 2.5/5 stars because he is such an incredible storyteller, but this movie is average at best.
the beginning of the movie at the concert was way too long and there wasnt much characters or much of a storyline really, there was so much that couldve been developed in my opinion.
1 star goes to russ, 1.5 stars goes to kid cudi because his character is hilarious
