this is the third time i’ve watched this movie and it breaks my heart each time. the final scene where moony cries to janice is honestly the first time i really saw her as a child since she’s always this tough little girl, and it makes her situation even more real and more heart breaking when you realize she’s dealing with all this as a baby essentially
