  beautifully shot film and an example of a successfully executed ensemble cast that actually asks its star power to, ya know, act.

  It seems as though when they conceived this film they knew they wanted to make a detective procedural horror hybrid with a supernatural twist. It also seems as though thats where the thinking stopped.

  The movie has such a solid foundation from which it could have, at several points, took off. It never did though. Once the big reveal is hinted about halfway through the movie it becomes so painfully obvious where it was going yet there was no further…

  this movie was awesome. a film you simply couldnt make today. an embodiment of “to be cringe is to to be free”.

  an over the top premise with shameless, maximal character and plot tropes but a movie that is so fun and unique. the synth soundtrack adds a menacing and surreal touch to the action that is just chefs kiss
