  Wow… I completely understand why this film won so many awards. Sean Baker put on an absolute clinic with this one. I think the performances from Mikey Madison and Mark Eydelshteyn are phenomenal. I hope this is the start of a really strong career for the both of them. Over the next 10 years this movie will have done a LOT for the sex working community. There are a lot of strong messages and parts of this movie that made me think about it in a completely different way then I have before. Really enjoyed it and am really glad it killed during award season.

  Extraordinary performances from Benicio del Toro, Emily Blunt, and Josh Brolin. Probably also my favorite performance from each of them as well. This film is very cloudy at some points in a good way. You’re never really sure what the main goal is. I still can’t describe it but man Denis did his thing. It really proves that government doesn’t care and everything goes back to politics. It’s all about pushing an agenda and they’ll make it work by any means.

  Wow, never watched this one due to no MM. screw him, this movie is an amazing Halloween scary story on its own. The whole plot of the movie is eerie and it makes you feel watched the whole time. The score is great, and now I’ll never get that stupid jingle out of my head.

  So goddamn tense all the way through. I was sitting up for half the movie it was so intense. Zendaya actually killed this role and if she doesn’t at least get nominated for an Oscar we’ve failed as a society. I see a lot of people picking sides through various rewatches and I think it’s safe to say I’m on Arts side after watching this. The relationship that these three characters have is so very strange but it works at the same time. The camera work was disgusting. He actually cooked filming this movie because those tennis shots were something else.
