Definitely a step forward in the right direction for the MCU.
To my surprise, I went into this film slightly hyped because after taking a look at the trailers and promotional material I realized that this if the first film from phase 5 and the first film since Black Panther: Wakanda Forever to expand upon the Earth-level storyline and characters, so I was excited because I knew we were finally going back to serious plots and important character development slowly…
I literally only rewatched this because appearantly Captain America: Brave New World will have elements which call back to the events and established characters from this movie.
I was just as bored throughout as the last time I watched it though doesn't excuse the fact that only the ending fight between Hulk & Abomination is good, the rest is just poorly written dialogue and military fetish content

What a beautifully animated, heartwarming little story! It feels so good to see Dreamworks staying consistent with their projects, and it's been a while since they've made me tear up this much.
Those first few shots of Roz learning how to adapt to her surroundings by observing the latter was when I knew that this movie was going to be amazing, and that's only in the first few minutes of the film!
And I can't stress enough just how wonderful…
How does this movie manage to make me cry each time I rewatch it like seriously.
A childhood favorite and easily one of Pixar's finest projects that is most definitely on par with some of their timeless classics from the early 2000's
I'm hoping the sequel is just as good (currently writing this a couple hours before going to see it)
