Contemplative and philosophical. In my opinion one of the best movies about war, though it's really more about the existence of evil and life in the world. John Cusack's brief moment in this film is so so so amazing, especially the scene of him talking to the Lt. Col. Tall. No words, and you see the entire disagreement happening in his mind. My favorite scene though is probably the one on the ridge between Witt and Walsh in the blue-lit evening. Seriously this movie is amazing. Hans Zimmer's score shines.
