A beautiful depiction on the complexity of human sadness— as David mentions, we all walk around the world in pain, we suffer it but still lack empathy for others’ struggle. Dealing with pain can take many different forms and colors, and it was very interesting seeing how they played this off between the cousins. Dealing with grief of a loved one but also the grief of a life they shared together when they were younger. The passing of time.
