  Absolutely loved this. Really love the authentic tone this director always manages to capture, which gives the characters, the story and their interactions such a genuine relatability. Also, I wanna give a big shout out to the cast, especially Hoffman, Sandler and Stiller.   As a Lord Huron fan, this was perfect! It brings all their albums together while mainly telling the story of Vide Noir, but still introduces you to main characters from previous releases such as Johnnie or Frankie Lou.   Awful film. Genuinely baffling that anyone can convince themselves this is a good movie... Look if you like this, all power to you, but it does feel like the kind of movie where the people who do like it will parade around almost in a patronising way how they can understand it and understood it’s brilliance when no one else did.
