    What most people don't know is that Rochus Misch, Hitler's private bodyguard in the bunker, who is portrayed in this film by Heinrich Schmieder, was alive at the time this movie was released. In fact, he is mentioned in the end credits as "living in Berlin".

    Not only that, he was interviewed and asked what he thought about this movie, and he replied that it was mostly accurate, just that they screamed to much.

    What was even the point? Almost everything is exactly, verbatim, identical to the 1994 original. Why make the same movie twice if you're not going to change a single thing? The first movie was lightning caught in a bottle and everything worked so well because every aspect of it, every part fot so well together.
