A Real Pain 2024
I guess the real pain was the friends we made along the way.
This movie is .. yeah challenging. The pivotal moment of the movie is the arrival at Dave and [his cousin] at their grandmothers house. The facade is underwhelmingly normal and their attempt at symbolic sentiment is thwarted. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse 2023
I’m the age of often pretentious, meta, cross dimensional, nihilistic films, this one comes off as meaningful. Into the spider-verse revolutionized animation and storytelling, and across the spider-verse continues this amazing story without falling flat. In the beginning the cross animation was somewhat overwhelming, referring to parchment scene, but it quickly became normal and also calmed down some.
