“is this what not failing feels like?” 

this movie was so insanely heartwarming. i enjoyed it so much more than i expected, excluding james cordons’ disrespectful interpretation of a gay man. wish they gave less scenes about dee dee’s storyline but nevertheless i was impressed with how well and casually queer characters were represented in this film. very refreshing when it comes to more recent representation in other films.

i think it could’ve been executed much better in terms of the timeline of events. with that being said, the ending was the most satisfying part of the movie and almost made up for how bored/confused i was for the majority of it.

i’ve never seen anything like this if this movie doesn’t get aubrey plaza an oscar i don’t know what will. the layers and depth to the story line leaves you on the edge of your seat at all times. the kind of ambiguity that you don’t even need an explanation for. phenomenal work. reminded me of white bear from black mirror a little bit which is interesting with the title comparison alone.
