Elvis 2022
A film which felt like nothing happened - yet felt like it dragged for around 6 hours…
Important as a cautionary tale shedding light on the exploitation of stars — as a character study its mid at best.
Some really cool sequences which are acted incredibly well but the film is majorly overshadowed by poor pacing.
ALSO - Austin needs to stop pretending he’s stuck with that accent; its like when your gran says your face will get stuck in the wind if you make a funny face (stop it mate).

Treat this film like a Shakespeare — the dialogue is clunky and the acting (due to poor direction) can sometimes fall flat.
The tragedy of the story, expertly crafted through the films writing - perfection.
In no ways is this a perfect film (nor a 5* film for everybody) but it holds a truly special place in my heart due to its importance in my childhood.
