Whiplash 2014
This movie did an outstanding job of pulling me in and making me feel like I was actually there, thankfully I was not there because I don’t want to have a cymbal thrown at my fucking head. A majority of the movie you can’t help but cringe at the amount of anxiety it makes you feel, whether Neimans fumbling his new girlfriend or you’re witnessing the intense sexual tension between Fletcher and Neiman. Jokes aside I think they were both great characters who needed each other to make use of their insanity and obsession for greatness
