  I was going to write a long text, but it’s not worth it.

  The problem in this movie is represented perfectly when the “Ciudad de México” title card appears on screen, misspelled. 

  Another old white (french) man’s salvation wet dream of a culture he does not understand (and seemingly has no interest to), from a problem he does not understand (and CLEARLY has no real interest in understanding).

  
  P.S.
  The star is because of Karla Sofía Gascón’s brilliant performance and the half star is because of my genious background performance as an “elotero” in a scene in the middle of the movie.
