Past Lives 2023
Not your typical romance film. The storyline being built around Korean culture really put the idea of realism and romanticism in perspective allowing audiences into a world that is much different from their cliche idea of love. The whole time I was expecting an affair to take place but I was impacted each time by the maturity and respect that poured out of both Nora and Hae Sung. This story was about rekindling old relationships, accepting the reality of the truth, and letting go of what once was. Very refreshing take and vision by Celine Song.
