i was worried this was going to be too “we need to talk about kevin” kind of thriller but i was surprised by its realism. the acting, the emotion, single take cuts, storytelling techniques. it’s reaaally interesting and tackles so many problems that surround a crime like this. from the police system, to the ridiculous schooling system to the question of how the family of the perpetrator are meant to move forward in good conscience, it’s all very compelling. also…
