The nostalgia! I loved this movie. Such great “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”bmeet “The Thing” vibes in high school.
I just loved it. It also had my childhood fem crush in it. So more points.

I swear Spanish horror has this unique knack for hitting me in my emotional box.
This movie had great pacing, I didn’t get bored or when it was slowing down scares are picking up. And they were good scares!
I liked the back story and the characters are all likable. Even the random side plot/character introduction worked for me.
Definitely liked it so much more than I expected. Extra star for making me cry…wtf

Cecelia’s struggle to fit in and belong made her relatable until well she wasn’t so relatable anymore 😬
Her actions made the movie a good horror movie. The pacing and the acting were pretty spot on. I felt uneasy throughout. Just how quick the victim turned into the villain was wild.
I can say this movie always one I wasn’t expecting but can appreciate.
Kicking off Horrorween 2022!
