surprisingly heartwarming & cute but also lots of blood. Josh Gad was so funny in this. The desperation where he drinks everything that has miniscule amounts of alcohol. Also the military guy picking up Max at the end had Sean & I in stitches

Another favorite & a series I watch every fall. After learning more about film and animation, I've noticed so much more about the importance of subtleties in detail and having purposeful, well-written dialogue. Man, it's so hard to write dialogue, but every conversation feels so natural in this show. My favorite episode remains Chapter 3: "Schooltown Follies".
As you're watching, you really can't help but get lost along in the woods with Wirt, Greg, and Beatrice... Watched again this season with Sean (his first time--he loved it, and that's a rock fact)!
