  I need to rewatch this with subtitles so I can catch every single line because it’s all gold. Loved Shiva Baby and I will be rewatching it when I get back to my room, but this was a step up in every way. Film is fucking back baybeeeee

  This is what I think people feared The Lego Movie was going to be, just a vague plot surrounded by references that feels like a feature length advertisement. That said, this was exactly what I expected an Illumination Nintendo collaboration would be like. Very polished, very family friendly, very mid.
