  i think the thing that really captivated me about this series was the family relationship between sonic, tom and maddie. so while i get why tom and maddie appear less as the films go on and the plot gets bigger, i still wish they could be incorporated more. but as someone who has a lot of nostalgia for the sonic franchise, i did love the nods to the games and all these iconic characters slowly making their way into this cinematic universe.

  also three movies later and it finally hit me that stone looks like roy kent

  Interstellar absolutely kicks Oppenheimer in the nuts for best Nolan movie. No contest. A lot of films have aspirations to the concept of love as humanity's greatest form of perseverance but few have executed it as well as this. Also just incredibly shot. I've never had fomo over missing a movie in imax but this did indeed, give me fomo over never being able to see it in imax.

  P.s. that old man is looking up at humankind's evolved society from HELL for doing what he did

  god what a through and through pure fun movie. the joy the actors had filming this radiated through their performances. ryan gosling and emily blunt's chemistry was everything i hoped for and ryan is never deeper in his bag than when he's playing a perpetually bewildered man wondering what the fuck he's doing here (affectionate).
