    This was a cute romantic comedy that left me with these takeaways:

    -the apollo missions were fascinating events in history
    -scarjo still got it, effortlessly charming
    -i couldnt get what channing was trying to do here; something about his look was also very off 
    -woody is so entertaining 
    -advertising is the craft of creative lying, and thats not so bad

    The film seems to have purposely left larger speculative fictions out of focus - political, cultural repercussions of civil war - and centered itself around the concept of war time journalism. I respect a decision like that, because ignoring the bigger questions helps this story shine in the intimate conflicts, which Alex Garland is so good at building tension in. A highlight was the Jesse Plemons scene - that guy is so good at being a quiet psychopath.
