  I was not expecting that ending oh my gosh. The foreshadowing with the girls bracelet and the dog going to the vet made so much sense. The fact that they made the audience pity “Ma” at the start switches completely when we see her true state. There was so much gore aswell it made my stomach turn. The film was really well written and I liked it.

  I loved the cinematography in this film, the plot was kind of confusing but I liked how lynch portrayed this in a dreamlike manner like a lot of his films but this one in particular was really surreal.

  I wasn’t expecting it to get so freaky 😭 but Nicole’s role was electrifying, I love how vulnerability is expressed throughout the film and how it shows the harsh realities for women’s relationships. I honestly think Nicole deserved that golden globe for this role because she did go all out for it and this is evident in the film.  I’ve never seen a film like this before it’s extremely unique and well written. I don’t often write reviews but this one deserved one!!
