im so glad america isnt actually real omg.
maybe important to mention how faked anti semitism and racism can normalize behaviours of hate in a very real sense, and lead to discrimmination being seen as more socially acceptable: if someone calls you out you can say you were just making a joke, like in borat, etc.
but i do see this film as a good case study of how genuinely awful america can be - the crowd still cheering when he called for the drinking of child blood felt fucking surreal.

Watched in the biggest theatre hall of Annecy. Deafening cheers errupted at every plot point. Viewers clapped in time with the thrusts. And as the credits rolled, the crowd of 1000+ rose for a standing ovulation. What the actual fuck is this film, and what is going on in norway that allowed it to be made. Incredible experience, would recommend.
