King Lear 2018
Literally irritated me enough to review. Not good at all except for the fact that it’s king lear but I think it’s kind of unfair when ur working with that kind of narrative. Like Shakespeare is handing it to them and they are STILL failing. Anthony Hopkins slay. Florence Pugh slay. Andrew Scott failing to slay once again after his hamlet failure but I love the hot priest so he can do whatever I guess. I didn’t hate it I just disagree with the director, writers, casting, and production crew.
Wait also bc the actor who fought Cornwall was hot. so maybe 5 stars…
