Hunt for the Wilderpeople 2016
A great feels good movie. Such a gown to earth story that makes it easy to connect and feel for Ricky. Such a fun watch and a touching story. Also very funny, Ricky is a great character and the jokes are well timed. I feel like the lighthearted approach really captures the childlike feeling of the film while also grounding it with the serious undertones of Ricky’s situation, and the reality of what happens. Very enjoyable, a true favorite.

The Creator 2023
I extremely enjoyed this movie and I didn’t expect much from this. The Twists were pretty unsurprising, some continuity was broken here and there and the dialogue wasn’t anything groundbreaking. But the intensity of this film really drew me in, from start to finish it was visually stunning and the action was extreme. I even felt at times it was little too violent for me but I felt that it highlighted that this was a no holds back guerrilla warfare…
