Where the latter shows us the successful tribulations of a talented drummer being directed by a sociopathic maestro, this one's about the downfall of a renowned but narcissistic maestro (partly) because of a talented musician. A very heartfelt and subtle flick that will mean something different depending on who's watching. It's one of those movies that give you all the LEGO pieces but not the manual, so you have to build something employing your instincts, subjective analysis and even your own life experiences, personal memories and emotional maturity.
