“We’re going to remake Leprechaun, but it needs to be serious than the last few. What should we do?”

“Oh, I know! Let’s make the Leprechaun himself different and turn him into a goblin monster, so it can be taken more seriously.”

Perhaps of the best Halloween films in the franchise.  I love it.  Such a great 20th anniversary film in such a beloved slasher franchise.  Jamie Lee Curtis has returned years after II with her performance stronger than before, complete with a dynamic mother-son chemistry between her and Josh Hartnett.  With a supporting cast consisting of pre-Venom Michelle Williams, LL Cool J, the also-returning Nancy Stephens, Full Moon High’s Adam Arkin, a young Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and even Curtis’ mother Janet Leigh…
