the night after my first sickening viewing of Fargeat’s gruesome masterpiece, i had horrendously terrifying nightmares about it; piercingly visceral dreams that felt like they lasted for eons. my body was morphing into a mismatched cobweb of my most disdained characteristics, my consciousness entangled in a grotesque, (in)human blob of flesh & bones. so, of course, the most logical next step was to go see it again as soon as humanly possible, this time on mushrooms. what a dazzlingly vile picture.
