wonderful story about navigating a diasporic identity while discovering ur heritrage
set design, cinematography, physical comedy all good as always. weird but interesting plot w a surprising amount of mystery and intrigue
not enough focus on mary and judy while the dad goes thru the same character arc again for the THIRD MOVIE IN A ROW! lowkey missing the charm of a wide collection of background characters and unfortunately sally hawkins' personality :(
i should be rating these movies slightly lower but they're so silly and charming
