Weird film. While Pattinson delivers a strong performance, there was definitely a missed opportunity, and the film focuses around strange worm creatures rather than his various deaths (which are more interesting). Ruffalo’s character also seems like a 2hr Trump impression.
Seems like they had the idea and ran out of steam.

Inglourious Basterds 2009
After rewatching, I think it’s fair to say this is Tarantino at his best, well cast apart from the character Shosanna Dreyfus, in my opinion. Tarantino expertly balances multiple story arcs, whilst ensuring that the overall plot is not lost in translation.
The cinematography in this film is fantastic, especially in the scene of the reunification Shosanna and Hans Landa, and notably the projection of Shosanna’s face onto the burning nazi BBQ smoke. Tarantino also references multiple (time) relevant films…
