  probably not stephen chow's magnum opus, but this movie, which he directed at 28, is such a fun and easy watch with tons of replayability. truly a classic.

  a 'black and white slideshow' that will challenge your interpretation of cinema as an artform. was shown this film in college and it was one of the reasons I learnt to appreciate the medium more. it plays with expectations and masterfully handles time as a storytelling element.

  I don't think Keanu Reeves is that great of an actor, but I firmly believe this movie redefined action sequences in western cinema. Prior (and still), most films had excessive jump cuts which just... took away from the impact.
