Dune 2021
This has got to be one of the most real experiences I’ve ever had watching a movie. Despite the alien setting, I felt that if I reached out, I could touch everything that I saw. I loved the set, costume, and prop design. The technology is very utilitarian and every piece I saw, my reaction was “that is so cool!” The angular buildings are furnished with minimalist decor harkening back to the Tyrell Corporation building from Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner…

To everyone who enjoyed The Rise of Skywalker, I am so jealous. Honestly, worst Disney Star Wars film 🤷♀️ I definitely enjoyed parts of it but overall the words I would use to describe it are fine and okaii. Return of the Jedi is my least favorite and the worst film in the original trilogy, but I would watch it over The Rise of Skywalker any day and I believe it is a much more satisfying ending to the saga.…

Best Star Wars movie and my favorite film of all time. The Empire Strikes Back checks all the boxes a great movie should and really drives the original trilogy forward, putting our hero’s in the toughest situations they have encountered and leaving them at the Rebellion’s lowest point. Perfect sequel, perfect set up for the final installment of the trilogy, and a perfect film in isolation. 6/5
