  This movie was certainly fun, and draws a lot of inspiration from the Spiderverse movies, however i felt that it misses the mark on a few things.   Blue Beetle 2023

  This movie was nearly exactly what you would expect from a super hero movie, however i think that the family aspect and the main characters arc was plotted out well. The movie often fell back onto the now common trope of comedy to cover up the darker aspects of the movie, however when the movie became serious it wasn’t jarring and the performances really sold those more emotional moments. All in all, no new ground was broken, but it was decent fun and a fun watch overall
